Derived from Filipino words “sinag” which means ray of light, and “larawan” meaning image, the SinagLarawan Photo Contest aims to highlight the values, traits, culture, and traditions that shape the Filipino identity through evocative photographs, captured by the caliber and creativity of Filipino photographers everywhere in the country. The mission is to allow these photographs to drive and inspire us to be better, do better, and take pride in all that it means to be Filipino.
